What is Employers' Liability Insurance?

Employers' Liability Insurance is a statutory requirement within the United Kingdom, as detailed in The Employers' Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 1998. 

Failure to comply with this legal requirement constitutes trading illegally and could result in potential prosecution and considerable fine for each day the company is in breach.

Employers' Liability Insurance is provided on a legal liability basis and is for a minimum limit of £5,000,000 per occurrence, which is in line with the statutory minimum.
